Short Safari Packages from Maun
Botswana camping safari packages that have been tailored for the perfect short getaway tour. All safaris start and end from Maun and depart every week in 2024. Choose between two nights exploring the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve, or combine them to do four nights to see the best of both areas. All camping equipment, meals, activities and guiding is included with pick up and drop off in Maun.

Meals (Vegan & Vegetarian available):
Early breakfast- Cereals, rusks tea and coffee.
Brunch- Eggs, beans, fried tomato, sausage and toast.
Light afternoon snack- Cold meats, salads breads.
Dinner- 2 courses, soup and a main or a main and desert.
Drinks:
3lts of drinking water per person per day & fruit juice for breakfast. If you would like to take any drinks we will supply a cooler and ice.
Accommodation:
Okavango Accommodation - Dome tents with beds and linen.
Moremi Accommodation - En-suite dome tents with stretchers and linen
Kids below 8 years free but may not go on the mokoro ride. A parent will be required to remain with them in camp. Kids from 8 years to 12 years half price, based on the number of adults. 13 years and above full price.
Okavango Delta safaris from Maun
2 nights, departing Tuesdays & Saturdays 2024.
US$ 280.00 per person sharing.
We pick you up from anywhere in Maun at 3pm for a two hour drive into the Daonara area and to the edge of the Okavango Delta, arriving at your riverside camp in the late afternoon with tents set up for your arrival. Sit back and watch as the sun sets over the hippo lagoon before enjoying a bushfire dinner under the stars.
On your second day, we wake up early for a full cooked breakfast before departing at 6:30am via safari vehicle to the Daonara mokoro station. We take you out at 8am for a few hours on mokoro, followed by a couple of hours wildlife walking in the Okavango Delta. Stop and relax in a shady location by the riverside and enjoy a nice picnic spread before departing again by mokoro at around 2pm, drifting downstream back to the mokoro station. From there it's another half hour drive back to camp for a warm shower and another Okavango sunset.
On the third day you wake up on your own time to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea on the edge of the lagoon. Breakfast is served between 7am and 8am. We then start the return drive back to Maun at 9:30am.
Moremi Game Reserve safaris from Maun
2 nights, departing Thursdays 2024.
US$ 1040.00 per person sharing.
We pick you up from anywhere in Maun at 10am for our drive to the Moremi Game Reserve. We arrive at South Gate around midday and continue through to the Xinii and Blackpools area in the Moremi western floodplains, with a picnic lunch along the way. After a day of game viewing we arrive at your campsite in the late afternoon with a cooked dinner already being prepared. The camp is an exclusive "Botswana Guides Association" site and private to our group during the nights there.
On your second day in the Moremi Game Reserve, head out for a full day of game drives with a packed picnic lunch. The day starts around 7am after a full cooked breakfast and returns to camp in the late afternoon.
On your third day, we wake you up at 5am for tea/coffee and cereal before setting off on an early game drive, returning back to camp at 11:30am for a fire cooked brunch. At 1pm we break camp and set off for our return drive back to Maun, arriving around 4pm.
Okavango Delta & Moremi Game Reserve camping safaris
4 nights, departing Tuesdays 2024.
US$ 1320.00 per person sharing.
A combination of both 2 night packages, we depart from Maun at 3pm and drive through to the riverside camp on the edge of the Okavango Delta. On your second day, we take you through to the Daonara mokoro station for a full day of mokoro and wildlife walking, with a picnic spread served in a shady location. We then return to camp in the late afternoon.
On your third day breakfast is served from 7:30am at a more leisurely pace before we leave camp and drive through to the Moremi game Reserve, with a picnic lunch served along the way. After a day of game viewing from your safari vehicle, we arrive at camp in the late afternoon, with another fire and dinner already on the way.
On your full day in the Moremi Game Reserve, we head out for a full day of game driving with a packed lunch, departing around 7am after breakfast and returning back to camp in the later afternoon.
For your last day we wake up early at 5am for coffee/tea and cereal, before making the most of an early morning game drive and returning to camp at 11:30am for a nice fire cooked brunch. At 1pm we start our return drive back to Maun where we can drop you off anywhere in central Maun. Arrival back in Maun is at around 4pm.

Moremi Game Reserve & Okavango Delta camping safaris
4 nights departing Thursdays 2024.
US$ 1320.00 per person sharing.
The same safari package also departs on Thursdays but in reverse. We leave Maun at 10am for our drive to the Moremi Game Reserve, with a picnic spread between your time game viewing and arrive at camp in the late afternoon with dinner preparations underway. On your full day in Moremi we take you out for a full day of game drives with a packed lunch, departing at 7am after breakfast and returning to camp just before sunset for another great fireside dinner.
On your third day we do an early morning game drive before returning for a cooked brunch and break camp at 1pm. Next we take you for a three hour drive out of the Moremi Game Reserve and to your riverside camp on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Sit back and enjoy your time by the lagoon as the sun sets and we serve another great dinner. On your last full day, we wake you up for a full cooked breakfast at 6am and depart at 6:30am by safari vehicle to the mokoro station for a couple of hours gliding through the Okavango water channels. After some mokoro we stop and explore some nearby dry islands on foot, before pausing for another picnic spread, served under some shade. At around 2pm we set off downstream via mokoro and back to the mokoro station. From there, it's just a half hour drive to camp for some relax time and another beautiful sunset on the way.
Wake up at leisure on your last day for a full cooked breakfast and begin your return to Maun at 9:30am, arriving before midday.

When we arrived, Moss greeted us and introduced us to our guide, Joseph. She made sure we were all set to leave and that we didn't have any questions. From the moment we met Joseph until he dropped us off, he was extremely professional, caring, and just a joy to be around. He is extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, in addition to conservation and ecology. As a scientist, I really enjoyed talking with him and learning about how Botswana was managing their wild spaces. He is very passionate about conservation and connecting with the locals in each area we visited. The cook, Morheedi (not sure how to spell it?), made amazing food, we were never hungry and always impressed with the meals! Our assistants were also wonderful and fun to talk with and get to know. We always felt comfortable and well taken care of. The tent and facilities were great, what an amazing way to experience the bush. The route and time in each area was great. We got to see a variety of habitats and animals within a relatively short period of time. In summary, I am incredibly happy we choose this safari! My Mom and I created amazing memories!
