Itinerary: 5 Nights Fly-in Camping Safari.
Day 1: Journey into the Okavango Delta.
The team will meet you at Maun Airport (or anywhere in central Maun) in the early afternoon and connect you with your helicopter pilot. From there, you’ll take a scenic helicopter transfer to a semi-permanent Okavango Delta base camp. Once in camp, the guide will show you around and escort you to the tented accommodation—riverside Meru tents with beds, each featuring a private bathroom. A mini-bar is available in the main area for self-service beverages, ideal for enjoying the sunset over the hippo lagoon.
Shortly after sunset, a three-course, fire-cooked dinner will be served in the dining area.
Day 2: Mokoro Excursion and Wildlife Walking Safaris.
At daybreak, hot water, coffee, and tea will be delivered to the verandah in front of your tent, along with a wake-up call to get ready for an early breakfast.
Departure on the safari vehicle will be around sunrise for a half-hour drive to the “Buffalo” fence, followed by a further 1-hour game-viewing drive to Ditshipi, where a mokoro starting point is located well within the delta.
From the mokoro “station,” the team of polers will meet your group and take you and the guide for a 6-hour combination of mokoro excursions and wildlife walking safaris. Upon returning from your walk, the guide will set out a picnic lunch before heading back on the mekoro to the waiting safari vehicle.
Water levels permitting, a different route will be used for the game drive back to camp for a shower, sundowners, and another scrumptious dinner infront of the lagoon.
Day 3: Journey into the Moremi Game Reserve and Elephant Havens.
The third day begins at a gentler pace, with a warm beverage delivered to the tent at sunrise and breakfast available any time before 8:00.
At 8:30, departure is scheduled for a three-night safari to Moremi Game Reserve, with a stop en route at Elephant Havens, a wildlife foundation operating an elephant orphanage and reintroduction program. After a one-hour tour of the facility, the journey continues, reaching South Gate, Moremi, around midday.

From South Gate, the route follows a relaxed game drive across the wildlife-rich western floodplains of Moremi Game Reserve. A picnic lunch in the Xinii area provides a midday pause before continuing to the camp in the Third Bridge area. Arrival is typically around 5:30 p.m., where Meru tents will be pre-erected and dinner preparations underway. Hot water will be heated over the fire to fill bucket showers for use at leisure.

Day 4: Game Drives and Boating from the Xakanaxa Boat Station
After an early breakfast, the day is dedicated to game viewing, with a packed picnic lunch provided for the midday break. After spending the day on game drive, at around 14:30, a two-hour boat cruise departs from the Xakanaxa boat station to give you a different perspective of the area. The afternoon concludes with a final game drive returning to camp.

Day 5: Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
On your last full day in the Moremi Game Reserve, you head out for both a morning and afternoon game drive, returning to base camp for lunch and relaxation between activities.
Day 6: Return to Maun.
On your last day you have an early wake up for a game drive at dawn. You then return to camp for a fully cooked breakfast. You then return to Maun in the late afternoon.
